The modern heating solution, promoted by CET-Nord SA, is more economical, offers independence and safety, thanks to the installation in the basement of the block of the Individual Thermal Point and the horizontal distribution system of the thermal agent that allows heating and metering separately for each apartment and the restoration of the centralized hot water supply system.
The central heating system (CHS) is the safest and the most efficient method of heating the home and of supplying hot water.
The installation of Individual Thermal Points allows us to carry out the reconstruction of the heating system and the supply of hot water in the households with the installation of individual heat meters in each apartment. „CET-Nord” SA will carry out all the design and installation of the new ITP and all distribution networks up to the meter.
Apartment owners will only pay the costs of installing the aqueduct network from the meter and inside the apartment. For the implementation of this reconstruction project, the agreement of all apartment owners connected to central heating is necessary.
All information relating to this modernisation project, the operating principle and the advantages of using Individual Thermal Points is attached below.
INDIVIDUAL TERMIC POINT is a set of modern equipment that allows the transfer of thermal energy from the city's centralized system to the internal building system. Thanks to them, hot water is prepared directly in the basement of the block, and the heat is delivered evenly at the desired temperature.
The main equipment of a ITP includes:
1. Heat exchanger for connecting the internal heating circuit;
2. Heat exchanger for the preparation of domestic hot water;
3. Electrical automation, programming and control panel;
4. Circular pump on the internal heating circuit,
5. Recirculation pump for the household hot water internal circuit;
6. Regulator for regulating and maintaining temperature in the internal heating circuit;
7. Pressure regulator on the primary circuit;
8. Regulator for maintaining the temperature of hot water supplied to the household.
What is a Horizontal Distribution System?
Horizontal Distribution System is characterized by the fact that heat distribution pipes do not pass from one neighbor to another, but start from the pipes installed in the building`s staircase. Thus, hot water is supplied at the same temperature on all floors ensuring uniform heating without dependence on the floor.
A horizontal system starts from the Individual Thermal Point and continues with the distribution pipes of the thermal agent and the hosehold hot water (HHW). Pipes are installed in the staircase area so that the neighbors are not dependent. At the same time, for the verification of meters you will no longer be disturbed by requests for access by representatives of public service providers, etc.
What is a Distribution Collector?
When running the horizontal distribution system it is necessary to install a distribution collector who has the role of distributing the thermal agent to each apartment on one floor. In addition to the distribution of heat and ACM, a distribution collector also has the role of a consumption record node for each apartment, offers the possibility of independent connection/disconnection of each apartment, performs hydraulic adjustment for each floor, etc.
Advantages
At the moment multileveled buildings have monotubular heating systems with vertical pipes. In the monotubular system the radiators are connected in series, i.e. circulating from one apartment to another and because of this the water loses temperature and does not deliver enough heat for all floors of the block.
Because pipes pass through the apartments of each floor, it is very difficult to modernize the existing networks and therefore the existing system is characterized by the wear of pipes, massive deposits of limestone and rust through the pipes and therefore the failure to provide the necessary heat. Since the consent of all the tenants on the building is needed, it is almost impossible to repair the existing system.
Because the heat agent is delivered from the bottom floor up, or vice versa, the floors are heated disproportionately so in some floors it is too hot and others too cold. This situation also leads to enormous heat loss because no heat control ajustment can be carried out.
INSTALLATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL TERMAL POINT
- Provision of heating and hot water services year after year;
- Production of hot water directly in the consumer's building and thus the supply of hot water will be much cheaper than by using electric boilers;
- Automatic adjustment of the temperature of the heat agent according to the ambient temperature;
- Securing consumers in hydraulically vulnerable areas;
- No danger of explosion;
- No danger of contamination with harmful substances.
EXECUTION OF THE HORIZONTAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND INSTALLATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL HEAT CONTENT
- Increasing of the quality of heat supply on all floors of the block;
- Consumers will decide individually to connect or disconnect from the heating services;
- Each apartment will have its own meter and therefore a direct contract with „CET-Nord” SA, so consumers are no longer dependent on their neighbors;
- Completely remove the vertical pipes that cross each apartment.
